Pakistan Army’s troops patrolled Peshawar roads along with police and district officials to ensure enforcement of corona SOPs, it is learnt on Sunday.
The officials sealed over 100 shops and detained more than 300 persons including shopkeepers on violation of the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The officials conducted raids in Saddar, University Road, Hayatabad, Kohat Road and Charsadda Road in Peshawar over breach of the Covid-19 precautionary measures.
Three bakeries, and scores of ice-cream and juice shops were sealed over the SOPs violation.
Police registered cases against 20 persons in Gujranwala over violation, while 22 shops were sealed and challans issued to 14 vehicles.
In Pakpattan 52 shops and 20 eateries were sealed over violation of the corona precautionary measures.
In district Multan administration teams launched crackdown and caught six people over violation of smart lockdown during last 48 hours.
In line with special directions of Deputy Commissioner Ali Shahzad, the crackdown against Corona SOPs violators was continued across the district and sealed 13 various trade centres.
Similarly, 15 passenger buses were challaned while Rs 1,55,000 fine was also imposed over violation
The Hyderabad district administration has enforced smart lockdown for 2 weeks in 18 localities of Hyderabad in view of rising number of COVID19 cases in those areas.
According to a notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Fuad Ghaffar Soomro here on other day, the lockdown would start from April 25.
The areas include Hussainabad, Amani Shah Colony and Mehar Ali Colony in union councils 1 and 8 in Latifabad and Mir Colony and SAU Colony in Hyderabad taluka in UC Tandojam.
Some 13 localities in 5 UCs of Qasimabad taluka have also been put under lockdown.
The areas in question have a cumulative number of 382 active cases of COVID19 in the district.
