Pakistan’s relations with Arab Islamic countries have improved to a larger extent during last six months and cooperation in all areas have also been increased and reinforced,Special Representative to Prime Minister on Religious Harmony and Middle East Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi said Tuesday.

Talking to media persons, he said Pakistan’s relations with brotherly UAE (United Arab Emirates) were improving significantly.

The UAE has demonstrated its love for the people of Pakistan by extending the time period to pay debt for Pakistan, which hinted at strengthening relations between the two countries.

He said that Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had not met Indian Foreign Minister in UAE, as the possibility of talks with India went through Kashmir.

Pakistan’s stance on relations with India was explicit and very clear, Pakistan does not want to instigate a war but all avenues of dialogue pass through Kashmir.

Responding to a question, Ashrafi said that Prime Minister Imran khan would soon visit Saudi Arabia on Saudi Crown Prince Ameer Muhammad bin Salman’ invitation. Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations were based on faith and belief, he added.

Brotherly relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia remained stable and stronger amidst baseless propaganda and rumors, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi.

There have been conspiracies to worsen relations of Pakistan with the Islamic world, especially with Saudi Arabia, but all these conspiracies had always failed, he added.

He said that Pakistan could play imperative role for Green Saudi Arabia and Green Middle East projects.

He said Prime Ministe Imran Khan had assured the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Ameer Muhammad bin Salman of his full support in that regard.
