On the instructions of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan, Deputy Commissioner Mardan Habibullah Arif has set up a 78-bed unit for treatment of corona at District Headquarters Hospital Mardan.
Deputy Commissioner Mardan Habibullah Arif said that modern facilities have been provided for the patients infected with Corona virus in the region.
Ventilator is attached to all the beds. He said that with the establishment of the new unit, the burden of coronary arteries at Mardan Medical Complex Hospital would be reduced and treatment of other diseases along with corona virus would continue there. He said that the unit has been set up within 24 hours.
