The District Coordination Committee (DCC) in its meeting unanimously approved development schemes of the Annual Development Program (ADP) for 2021-2022.
A meeting of the District Coordination Committee was held here, which was attended by Federal Minister Sahibzada Muhammad Mehboob Sultan, Punjab Minister for Sports and Archaeology Rai Taimur Hayat Bhatti, Advisor to Chief Minister Faisal Hayat Jabwana, Deputy Commissioner Fayyaz Ahmed Mohal, MNA Sahibzada Mohammad Amir Sultan, MPA Rana Shahbaz Ahmad Khan, Col (retd) Ghazanfar Abbas Shah, Mohammad Asif Kathia, Maulana Anas Muawiyah, Mehr Sultan Sikandar Bharwana, Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning Mohammad Sarwar Gujjar, CEO Naseem Akhtar Zahid, Dr Artizaul Hasnain, Muzammil Raza and officers of the departments concerned.
Addressing the meeting, Federal Minister Sahibzada Muhammad Mehboob Sultan said that we are all on same page for the development and prosperity of Jhang District.
We will definitely ensure availability of funds on an equal basis to raise the living standards of our people in addition to Rs1.18 billion for Jhang headquarters.
He said that billions of rupees funds have been allocated to each member of the Assembly.
They will spend it directly on the people of their constituency.
Similarly, in the case of sugar cess, Rs16.6 million will also be given to each member of the Assembly. These funds are in addition to other grants. He said that equal distribution of funds would raise the living standards of the people of every area of the district.
MNA Sahibzada Muhammad Amir Sultan said that our aim is to provide relief to people in the form of development works.
Advisor Faisal Hayat Jabwana said that now we will lay the net of development works in the backward areas.
Rana Shahbaz Ahmad Khan said that now every member of assembly will do construction work in his constituency which will remove backwardness.
Col (r) Ghanzafar Abbas Shah said that we will continue our struggle for grant of other mega projects.
He said that for the first time a good decision has been taken to distribute funds on equal basis.
Deputy Commissioner Fayyaz Ahmed Mohal said that the overall development of Jhang district as a whole would help in improving the living standards of the people. Will give development schemes to the management on which work will start soon.
