Hot, dry weather likely to persist

Pakistan Meteorological Department on Thursday forecast hot and dry in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

While partly cloudy weather was expected in Gilgit Baltistan and continental air was prevailing over upper parts of the country, MET office reported.

Maximum temperature’s recorded in (°C): Mithi 41, Chhor 40, Shaheed Benazirabad, Turbat, Pasni and Lasbella 39 degrees centigrade.

Mainly hot & dry weather in Balochistan The Quetta Met Office has forecast mainly hot and dry weather in southern and eastern parts of province during next 24 hours.

According to the Met Office, the minimum temperature in Quetta was recorded at 6.0 degree centigrade and 1.0 degree centigrade in Ziarat on Thursday.

The Meteorological department Karachi on Thursday forecast hot and dry weather in the metropolis over the next 24 hours.

The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to remain from 23 to 25 and 37 to 39 degree centigrade, respectively with 50 to 60 percent humidity, in Karachi over the next 24 hours. Hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over the province during the next 24 hours.—APP
