According to the notification issued by Punjab Provincial Transport Authority, closure will be for all type of inter-provincial public transport except goods/freight, medical and emergency service with effect from April 10, 2021.
The notification also directs concerned officials to ensure strict compliance of government directions and share their reports along with pictorial evidence.

The NCOC further said that railways will also continue to operate seven days a week with 70 percent occupancy.
