This was observed by the Chairman NCHD Dr. Amirullah Marwat during a meeting with Chairman Pakistan Human Development Fund Dr. Naseem Ashraf, here today.
DG NCHD Mr. Hassan Baig said that Government is working hard to promote education and literacy in the country through education policies.
The purpose of the project is to strengthen federal and provincial capacity in education to respond and recover from Covid crisIs with a focus to lay the foundation for resilience to face such future crisis.
Action to strengthen Performance for Inclusive and Responsive Education (ASPIRE) is another project by World Bank to combat with Covid -19, he maintained.
PHDF pledged to work in collaboration with NCHD and provide funds for eradication of illiteracy from the country.
Dr. Naseem Ashraf Chairman PHDF appreciated the efforts of NCHD in the field of literacy and non-formal education and extended his full support to NCHD for literacy, skill development and capacity building of NFE teachers.
