Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali has said that on the last day of anti-polio campaign, monitoring teams should go door to door to ensure that children were vaccinated against the crippling while door disease.
He directed that the teams should also ensure that no child left behind for any reason. He said this while reviewing the targets of the ongoing anti-polio drive.
The DC directed the Assistant Commissioners concerned on the identification of some issues during the campaign by the World Health Organization and asked them to rectify the issues and submitted a detailed report.
He urged the health department officials to rectify the situation without delay and report that there should be no negligence in vaccinating the children.
He said that the monitoring of the campaign was also underway and the negligence was not due to departmental action. CEO Dr Bilal Ahmad, DHO Dr. Atta and others were present in the meeting.
