After the tragic incident that took place at Naltar, the Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khursheed address a press conference regarding the security situation in Gilgit.
The Chief Minister Said, We will not allow any to aggravate the hatred situation, and action will be taken against anyone who has tried to spread provocation.
A list of provocative people is being compiled. Action will be taken against government employees who spread hatred on social media.
The public and media should cooperate with the government to maintain law and order in the area, he added. The role of in saving the region from unrest cannot be denied.
Further, he said that all the accused have been arrested who me were involved in Nalter accident and the punishment system is further improved.
CCTV cameras would be installed on the highways of the city within two months and forensic laboratories would be set up he added
He further said that the biggest obstacle in the construction and development of Gilgit-Baltistan is the so-called sectarianism and nationalism.
These are mentally ill and there is no cure for them anywhere in the world. Peace and order would prevail in the region and prosperity would come.
He re irrigated his resolve that the terrorist will be dealt with iron hands.
The enemy could be involved in spreading chaos in the region; the government was closely monitoring the situation.
