Cases to be registered for not wearing masks

The Lahore Administration has decided to intensify implementation of the coronavirus SOPs on Saturday.

During a meeting between Commissioner Lahore and the district administration, it has been decided to registered cases against those who do not wear masks in public places.

The meeting also decided to shut the public transport, which does not follow the SOPs.

Commissioner Lahore Captain (retd) M Usman said stricter measures would be taken to implement the coronavirus SOPs.

Later, Deputy Commissioner Lahore Mudassar Riaz Malik and Assistant Commissioner City Faizan Ahmad led a public awareness campaign at the Regal Chowk, Mall Road and directed the people to wear the masks and also distributed masks among the people.

DC Lahore said the coronavirus cases were increasing on daily basis and they have decided to tighten the measures and the owners of motorcycles, rickshaws and other vehicles would be dealt with over the violation of coronavirus SOPs and those who would not follow the SOPs, their vehicles would be held.
