Two women were murdered – one was gunned down by dacoits on resistance while another was killed inside her house by unidentified accused Saturday.
According to police, a 40-year-old woman was shot dead on resistance during a dacoity in Mughalpura area.
The deceased’s sister and nephew were also injured in the incident who were shifted to a hospital for emergency medical treatment.
The victim was identified as Shaheen Bibi who had visited her sister’s house in Mughalpura when the dacoity took place.
Police have shifted her body to morgue for post-mortem.
CCPO Ghulam Mahmood Dogar has taken notice of the murder in Mughalpura and sought a report from SP Civil Lines. In another incident, a 26-year-old woman was shot dead inside her house in Shahdara area.
According to police, unidentified attacker(s) stormed into Tahreen’s house and shot her dead. The police shifted the body to a hospital.
