Ambassador (Retired) Lutfi Rauf, Deputy for Foreign Policy Coordination, Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Indonesia, along with his delegation visited Pakistan from 08-09 October 2019 for attending Pakistan-Indonesia Security Dialogue.
Prior to the dialogue, the visiting dignitary called on Secretary Defence in which both sides discussed matters of mutual interest covering scope of bilateral defence cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia. It was mutually agreed to strengthen, expand and diversify this cooperation through all available forums.
The Security Dialogue took place on 8th Oct 2019; Ambassador Lutfi Rauf led the visiting delegation while Rear Admiral Mirza Foad Amin Baig, Additional Secretary Defence led the Pakistan side. Both sides reviewed the present status of their bilateral cooperation within the framework of the forum and exchanged views on a number of issues including Security, Counter Terrorism Financing, Countering Violent Extremism and Deradicalization, Maritime Security, Cyber Security, Intelligence Cooperation, Anti-Narcotics Cooperation, Measures against Human Trafficking and Defence Cooperation.
