President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industries (FPCCI) Mian Nasser Hyatt Maggo on Thursday, on the occasion of World Water Day, inaugurated one of the Water Filtration Plants donated by Coca-Cola Company for the disadvantaged people of Chandio Village in Karachi.
Speaking on the occasion, Nasser Hayatt Maggo said that Coca-Cola is one of our trusted industry partner and positively supporting GDP of Pakistan.
He also appreciated the efforts of the Coca-Cola Company for this initiative where more than 3000 families will be able to get free safe drinking water.
Head of Public Affairs Coca-Cola Pakistan & Afghanistan Region, Dr. Faisal Hashmi shared that Coca-Cola is already a water neutral company and is continuously working towards safe provision of water in the region. Providing safe drinking water to communities is one of our key agenda.
Coca-Cola Company has donated 17 filtration plants bearing latest technology to fulfill the drinking water needs of Karachi.
The Coca-Cola Company believes that the availability of freshwater is a defining issue of our times (Pakistan is one of the water stressed countries), while it also offers opportunities to make a positive impact on lives and livelihoods around the globe.
Coca-Cola System has already replenished more than 1.5 trillion liters and will continue to work towards healthy watersheds and sustainable supply chains.
