A Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz worker Monday threw ink and an egg on the face of Prime Minister’s spokesperson Shahbaz Gill’s face on the premises of the Lahore High Court.
According to details, when Gill entered the premises of the Lahore High Court to appear before the court in a case, a man hit him with an egg.
Latter the man threw black ink on his face inside the LHC. The police arrested the culprit. The culprit was beaten up by the police and PTI workers.
Later talking to the media, Gill said the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) would not reply to the PML-N activists’ treatment with him.
He said he would not advise PTI workers to reply to the PML-N workers in the same coin. He made it clear to PML-N that Pakistan was not their property.
“We have laid down our lives for the creation of this country,” he said and added PML-N leader Mian Javed Latif’s remarks that the party would not raise the slogan of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ if party vice president Maryam Nawaz was harmed.
He said he was not sure whether Shahbaz Sharif or his son Hamza Shahbaz’s political future was safe or not, but as far as PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif or his daughter Maryam Nawaz were concerned, their political future had been sealed.
He also claimed that he has a recording of a WhatsApp call in which PML-N and PPP leadership were berating each other for failing to get the required votes in the Senate chairman elections. He said he would soon release the call to the media.
The incident was deliberately planned as mentioned by Gill on his Twitter account before arriving at the LHC.
He wrote that he was going to appear before the LHC and there were reports that miscreants of PML-N workers have prepared to attack him in the court.
However, he termed himself a soldier of PM Imran Khan and said such tact would not be able to deter his resolve.
