Sindh Government spokesperson and Law and Environment Advisor Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said on International Women’s Day that I would like to pay tribute to all the women, mothers, sisters and daughters of my country on the occasion of this day.

“I salute all the women, including Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Begum Nusrat Bhutto, Mohtarma Asma Jahangir, who have fought for basic human rights as well as women’s rights and stood firm against dictators and in promoting democratic values in Pakistan.”

He expressed these views while addressing a press conference at Media Corner of Sindh Assembly Building here on Monday.

“If the economy was moving in the right direction, would inflation rise?” He asked. The storm of mind-blowing inflation is gripping the common man. He said that the prices of basic commodities are constantly rising but the Prime Minister knows how many votes are sold in the Senate.

“Does Imran Khan also know the price of sugar flour? Khan Sahib has not eradicated poverty but the poor. He said that imports are constantly increasing and who is responsible for this? If the prices of fertilizers go up, then vegetables and fruits will also become more expensive.”

He further said that due to the incompetence of the selected government, cotton is now being imported from abroad. Responding to questions from reporters, he said that many PTI ministers were members of other parties. Usman Buzdar was also not a part of PTI by birth.

This is the government of Mange Tanga. He said that if Aslam Abro used any opinion according to his conscience, no action would be taken against him. His people joined hands with Sadruddin and what action will be taken against him. He shook hands with Hafeez Sheikh.

He said that it was true that food items were being sold at double the official price but unless the federal government reduced the prices of electricity, gas and diesel, inflation would not be controlled.
