Two teenage sisters on Sunday were strangled to death by their cousins over turning down their marriage proposal.
The police have arrested both the culprits who have confessed to their crime.
According to police sources, both the accused identified as: Waqas and Ishtiaq wanted to tie the knot with their cousins Sajjal and Hijab, resident of village Ruriana, Sangla Hill in district Nankana Sahib.
However, both the two sisters rejected the proposals of their cousins over wide age difference.
Annoyed over the situation, the culprits barged into the house of their cousins, strangled to death both girls and fled the scene.
The bodies were shifted to hospital where they were handed over to heirs after postmortem.
The police have arrested both the culprits who admitted the crime and the police after registering a case against them started an investigation.
