Ufone’s flagship Summer Internship Program 2019 successfully concluded with a closing ceremony organized at Ufone Tower, Islamabad.
The program commenced on 17th of June, 2019 and after a competitive selection process, 44 interns were on-boarded from 15 universities across Pakistan. The batch of 2019 had been shortlisted from a pool of more than 1500 candidates that went through 3 competitive stages of assessment.
The selected interns worked on key projects with Finance, Commercial, Technology, Human Resources and Customer Operations teams which helped them to expand their professional experience. They were placed in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore office under experienced staff of Ufone which developed them in their professional and personal development via real-time tasks and assignments.
The 6 to 8 weeks long internship program ensured coaching and training of young talent through peer to peer learning, mentoring from line managers and working on new projects with skill development being the key focus.
The internship drive concluded with a graduation ceremony through which interns were acknowledged for their efforts.
