The University of Home Economics (UHE) Textile and Fashion Design Department organized a two-day workshop titled: Creative Thinking and Design.”
On the occasion, UHE Vice-Chancellor Prof-Dr Kanwal Ameen expressed her views and said it is essential that students should take full interest in research studies as well as promoting creative thinking so that they could find out solutions to the problems in their subjects. It will help the country to confidently walk side by side with the developed nations, she added.
Head of Department Dr Ayesha Saeed said that the source of inspiration for organizing this workshop is using the basis of design and learning from it and creating own designs through creative thinking and visualization. She said that such activities are important for enabling students hidden talents and abilities.
Professional Trainer Mr Hashim Ali Choudhry is a graduate of National College of Arts with a degree in Visual Communication Design. Boasting a ten year experience as an Art director, Director and Creative visualiser with projects ranging from major fashion brands, to multinational companies.
Additional Registrar, Ms. Rozina Sadiq, Head of the Departments, Faculty Members, and students were present at the occasion. This workshop was organized specially for the Students of the 4th year and 6th year she noted.
