Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Thursday declared that the foundation of a transparent Pakistan has been laid under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

“The PTI-led government is most transparent in the history of the country as not a single scandal has exposed in past two and a half years.”

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that those engaged in the spate of political aspersions have no future and they must realize that people cannot be served through hollow claims.

The CM advised the opposition to look into its own peep before leveling baseless allegations and maintained that rejected elements criticize the government for the sake of some political gains.

Usman Buzdar emphasized that practical steps have been taken by the incumbent government for public welfare.

Pakistan has been bestowed with an honest and trustworthy leader in the shape of Imran Khan and the performance of the PTI government is better than the previous governments, he stressed.

The CM regretted that the rejected elements are busy hatching conspiracies against the government from the day first but their tricks have been failed due to the blessings of Almighty Allah and the support of the masses.

The opposition is non-serious even in the prevailing circumstances when every patriotic Pakistani is duty-bound to prioritize the national interest. The opposition is following a personal agenda, he regretted.

The nation demands unity as Pakistan is the only identity of all of us but PDM is trying to fulfil the enemy’s agenda by spreading chaos in the country, concluded the CM.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar chaired a meeting at his office on Thursday to review progress on health projects. Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid, chairman P&D, secretaries of health and finance departments and others attended the meeting.

The meeting was told that 583 new corona cases were reported and 40 others lost their lives during that last 24 hours while 16002 tests were conducted. So far, 5308 corona patients have died and 3245203 tests have been conducted in the province.

The CM approved the construction of mother & childcare hospitals in Attock, Layyah, Rajanpur, Bahawalnagar and Sialkot with an approximate amount of Rs.28 billion.

The foundation stones will be laid soon to complete the hospitals within two years to provide the best healthcare facilities to the patients, he added.

The CM directed to settle related aspects without delay and announced to personally monitor the progress adding that no shortage of funds will occur for this project.

Meanwhile, PTI unopposed Senator Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry and other MPAs called on Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar here.

The chief minister congratulated newly elected senators of PTI and its ally party PML-Q and expressed best wishes for them.

He said that through a successful strategy in Punjab, senators have been elected unopposed and the attempts of horse-trading have been failed adding that transparency won in Punjab and those who were offering bids remained disappointed.

Transparent elections strengthened the democracy, he concluded. Provincial Ministers Raja Basharat, Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed, Hashim Dogar, Ijaz Alam, Muhammad Akhlaq, Dr. Akhtar Malik, Raja Yasir Humayun, former minister Asad Khokhar, SACM Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Aun Chaudhry and MPAs were present on this occasion.
