The security forces foiled a terror bid as a bottle bomb was recovered at Rawalpindi railway station on Wednesday which was defused later.
On a tip-off regarding presence of a suspected bag at Rawalpindi railway station, police and other law enforcing agencies reached the scene.
During search of bag, a locally manufacture bottle bomb connected with two batteries and mobile phone was recovered.
Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was called in which defused the bomb through artificial blast.
