Lahore High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan on Tuesday called for concerted efforts to ensure timely justice delivery.
Speedy justice does not mean bulldozing the system, the LHC CJ said, adding that speedy justice means averting unnecessary deferments. Putting off cases on the insistence of readers should be barred, he said.
He said that a judge who fails to deliver should be brought to justice. He called for bringing in change so that the justice seekers could be provided with relief at the earliest.
