Opposition leader Haleem Adil Sheikh’s public service banners were put up outside the Karachi Press Club on Tuesday as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf local leaders and workers gathered there to protest over their Sheikh and other workers’ arrest.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers put up banners at the press club to pay tribute to opposition leader Haleem Adil Sheikh. The banner features pictures of Haleem Adil’s public service.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stalwart Firdous Shamim Naqvi, while addressing protestors, said Haleem Adil Sheikh was being punished for being the voice of the oppressed people of Sindh.
“He is being persecuted for exposing the corruption of Sindh government.” Naqvi asserted that it was the love of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers who have paid homage to opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh today in large numbers.
The other leaders in their speeches said the PPP is blindly carrying out retaliatory actions in the fire of revenge.
They cautioned the rulers in Sindh that he sun of oppression is about to set in the province.
