Two schoolchildren died and eight others sustained injuries when a truck rammed into a school van due low visibility due to dense fog Friday morning.

According to rescue 1122 and police sources, the accident occurred on Hasilpur Road and due to dense fog. On being informed, the rescue teams rushed to the spot and moved body and injured children to the hospital.

Five children were shifted to Victoria and four to THQ Hospital. The dense fog blanketed several parts of the province and disrupted flights schedule and road traffic.
