The district administration in collaboration with Agency21 International organised a cycle rally on Metro Bus Track to promote cycling in the garrison city as part of efforts to inculcate a healthy lifestyle among people.
Rawal Cycling Saturday was held with an aim to encourage the culture of cycling and making it a permanent feature of the city.
The administration had organised the mass recreational bicycle ride under the Global Active Cities Project.
While speaking from the ceremony Director Agency21 International Mr. Sharjeel Ehmer praised the District Administration Rawalpindi for the promotion of healthy activities and ensured them that Agency21 will always be ready to support such initiatives.
Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Captain (R) Muhammed Mehmood said that these healthy activities will lead to a clean & green city with zero pollution and we aim to continue these activities for the citizens.
