MPAs and many leaders of Grand Democratic Alliance called on President of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional Sindh Syed Sadruddin Shah Rashdi at his residence on Saturday.
It was decided that Syed Sadruddin Shah, who is also central leader of GDA, will be nominated by GDA for Senate elections. Sadruddin Shah will submit his nomination form to the Provincial Election Commission on Monday.
Sardar Abdul Rahim, General Secretary PML-F Sindh, Dr. Safdar Abbasi, MPA Syed Muhammad Rashid Shah Rashdi, Nusrat Sahar Abbasi, Arif Mustafa Jatoi. Nand Kumar Goklani, Dr. Rafiq Banbhan, Qazi Shamsuddin Rajar, Wariam Faqir Khaskheli, Naseem Rajpar, Abdul Karim Sheikh, Barrister Arshad Baloch and others were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, the meeting of GDA leaders pledged that their allies would also be contacted to ensure that GDA nominee Syed Sadruddin Shah Rashdi wins the Senate seat.
They vowedthat they will make Syed Sadruddin Shah Rashdi successful in any case.
