PML-N senior leader Ahsan Iqbal on Tuesday said that a ‘friend’ of Prime Minister Imran Khan will be disqualified very soon. Talking to media persons here in the City, Ahsan Iqbal said that Imran Khan is pursuing ‘open voting’ in Senate elections in order to crush a revolt in the ruling party. “We will go to the court as the PTI govt is spreading constitutional anarchy in the country,” he claimed.
Meanwhile, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that today the doors of the courts in the country have been shut. “Today even these courts are not safe. There will be injustice when the law, constitution and courts are facing such a situation,”
he said while talking to newsmen outside an accountability court in Islamabad on Tuesday. He further said that the country’s rulers do not bother about the law and the Constitution.
Responding to a question, Khaqan Abbasi said “The ISPR Director-General said the Army had nothing to do with politics. Then who is responsible for whatever is happening in the country or what had happened in the country in 2018.” He remarked “Whatever is happening in the country happens when the government is not people’s representative one.”
