US Secretary for Pakistan Affairs Mr. Lesslie D Viguerie called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman at Governor House on Monday. He was accompanied by Acting US Counsel General in Peshawar Mr. Jim Eisenhut and Political & Economic Section Chief MS. Andrea Hilyer.
The two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and bilateral ties between the two countries. Both sides emphasized the strengthening of people-to-people contacts between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the US to bring a positive change in the region.
Governor KPK Shah Farman while talking to the US delegation said that KP province is enriched in various natural resources and the US government can exlpore opportunities in the field of agriculture and mineral industries.
The US delegation expressed gratitude to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman for his hospitality and assured to work further with the Government of Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in different sectors to strengthen and promote bilateral relations between the two countries.
