JI wants govt’s bold stance on Kashmir

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Siraj-ul-Haq has urged Pakistan government to take bold stance on Kashmir, which is a matter of life and death for Pakistan. He was addressing a public gathering arranged by his party here on Friday to express solidarity with the Kashmiris.
Senator Siraj-ul-Haq criticized the international community for its silence over Kashmiri people’s genocide by Indian occupation forces. He urged the federal government to take practical steps to mitigate the sufferings of Kashmir people.
Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami assured Kashmiris that whole Pakistani nation is standing with them in this time of crisis and would not leave their brethren alone.
The Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan also addressed on the occasion. A large number of people, including JI workers and supporters, reached Muzaffarabad from different parts of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir to attend the public gathering.
Earlier, Siraj ul Haq called on Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan in Muzaffarabad.
In meeting, both the leaders expressed grave concern over the deteriorating human rights situation in the occupied valley. Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that global body (UN) has completely failed to implement its resolutions on longstanding Kashmir dispute.
