The police have claimed to have arrested husband of the Fouzia Bibi who along with four children were found slaughtered, for killing his family in the name of ‘honor’, in Dogranwala area of Gujranwala.
Police claimed that the suspect Imran has confessed to the gruesome killings wherein he killed his wife Fouzia Bibi along with all four of their children in the name of ‘honor’.
Earlier in the morning, it was reported that a woman was killed along with her four children.
The five members of the ill-fated family were killed in Dogranwala area of Gujranwala Cantt Police remit, the officials said.
“The victims were slain with a sharp-edged weapon,” Gujranwala CPO Sarfaraz Ahmed told the media and added that the children, including three girls and a boy, were between five to 12 years of age.
The police officials informed that the couple had contracted a love marriage.
The suspected is being investigated and further revelations are expected, the officials said.
