Commissioner wants strict implementation of Covid SOPs

Commissioner Hazara Division Riaz Khan Mehsood told the journalists at his office here on Tuesday that successful interactive sessions & meetings with local elders, Ulemas & khateebs have also been conducted in entire districts regarding observance of Covid-19 SOPs in all the public places. Deputy Commissioners contacted ex local government members and political leaders and requested them to play their role to observe Covid Standing operating procedures at public places.
Commissioner Hazara shared the data according to which 8211 numbers of city transport were inspected during last one week in which Rs.199480/-fine were imposed beside impounded 107 vehicles in the division.
Similarly, action were taken against 8 Madaris out of total 809 mosques & Madaris inspected where as during inspection of 11536 shopping malls & markets, 221 were found violating & were sealed and an amount of Rs. 460,970/- were fined.
He told that as many as 353 marriage halls were checked out of which one was sealed and an amount of Rs. 18500/- were imposed fine. During inspections of 1372 Restaurants 40 were sealed and fine of Rs. 199,510/- were imposed. 7159 public places & parks were also checked and fine of Rs.11522/- were imposed on them.
