A girl was killed only five months after her marriage in Dhok Chaudhryan area here on Monday.
The father of 18 year-old Humaira Niaz has alleged that his daughter was shot dead by her husband since both used to quarrel with each other quite often.
Police have taken the girl’s husband into custody and started an investigation. The victim girl’s father has demanded capital punishment for her husband. “My daughter has been brutally killed. And I demand justice for her,” he implored.
