Capital Development Authority (CDA) is taking steps to elevate and boost performance of its Law Wing. Working pattern in the Law Wing of the Authority is being streamlined to maximize its output.
All Directorates of the Authority have been directed to provide information regarding court cases pertaining to their respective Directorates at the earliest. Instructions have also been issued to Law Wing to ensure timely submission para wise comments so that the cases pending in different courts of Law could be persuaded effectively and efficiently.
In this context, all formations of the Authority have been directed to ensure proper coordination with Law Wing in preparation of consolidated parawise comments.
Furthermore, entry of un-authorized/irrelevant people including litigants involved in litigation has also been banned in the law Wing to avoid breach of official secrecy.
Lawyers on the pool of CDA have been divided into different categories based on their qualification and work experience. Cases to all lawyers will be assigned on the basis of their financial worth.
Moreover, Law Wing have also been directed to prepare list of such lawyers who are not actively perusing cases assigned to them or have unsatisfactory performance so that action be taken accordingly.
The CDA’s Law Wing has further been directed to dispose of the cases in which legal opinion is sought within a week time, so that cases of general public involving legal opinion could be disposed of at the earliest.
