Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi came out openly in support of the government. Pervaiz Elahi called on Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar after which while talking he said that Imran Khan had visited his residence, now there are no reservations and the PTI government will complete five years. They are allies of the government. Insha Allah, the government will complete its term while the talks will be held at the federal level. Positive statements of the ministers regarding the opposition have come to light.
On the occasion, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar said that there is no ‘Dama Dum Must Qalandar’, in a democracy, ups and downs and rallies continue, the opposition is also contesting by-elections and Senate elections; the opposition is at the negotiating table on public issues. He was of the view that government should not take the undemocratic path to come into the power. On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has said that the people have completely rejected the politics of anarchy. Every attempt to stop the development of the country will fail. The elements trying to spread chaos in Pakistan have been exposed. The PTI government led by Prime Minister Imran Khan has been given a five-year mandate. The government will complete its term. Conspiratorial elements are still crying. The answer to negative politics has always been through public service. It may be recalled that the Opposition Coalition PDM has given the government a deadline of January 31 to resign.
In the matter of inauguration of the building under construction of the Punjab Assembly, the efforts of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi have begun to bear fruit. The new building of the Punjab Assembly will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan in the second week of February. The personal efforts of Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi regarding the completion of the new building have begun to bear fruit. Finally, after a delay of 16 years, the new building of the Punjab Assembly is nearing completion. The deadline for completion of the building was extended by the Speaker in December.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has now directed to complete the work in February in any case. In this regard, the Assembly Secretariat has started preparations for the inauguration by Prime Minister Imran Khan. The new building of the Punjab Assembly will be inaugurated with a grand ceremony in which all the Speakers of the Provincial Assemblies, including the Speaker of the National Assembly, are likely to be invited.The offices of the Secretary Assembly and Ministers will also be shifted to the new building.
