City administration has formed a council of libraries in the city to promote the reading habits among the Karachiites specially youth and children so as to book lovers could be facilitated to access the library and have books of their choice for reading easily and comfortably. He said this while he was speaking at inauguration of Children’s set up with the support of Turkish government at Alkhair School, in New Karachi. The commissioner Karachi alongwith the Council General of Turkey in Karachi Tolga UCAK and Turkish Karachi Program Coordinator Ibrahim KATIRCI, school teachers, parents and children of the school were also present on this occasion. He said the children’s library established in a less developed area is commendable. He thanked the Turkish government saying that it would help children to learn better and it would also help the efforts being made by the city government for promotion of reading habits among the people.
