At a ceremony held here at the DC office, Deputy Commissioner Tariq Ali Basra distributed regular appointment orders to 20 junior clerks recruited in the Education Department against ‘death quota’ under Rule 17-A of the Punjab Civil Servants (Appointment and Conditions of Service) Rules 1974. Addressing the ceremony, the DC said getting a government job is a blessing therefore the employees must take it as a trust and discharge their duties with honesty and dedication to earn a prominent place and respect of the superior officers at their workplaces and rapid advancement in their career.
