The Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) has decided to construct modern footpaths along all the highways in Hayatabad in view of the difficulties faced by pedestrians. It has been decided in light of the directives of Provincial Finance Minister Timur Jhagra and Minister for Local Government Yousuf Ayub. It has also been decided to widen and reconstruct all major intersections, including the Zarghuni Chowk, to ensure smooth flow of traffic as well as facilitate the pedestrians in road crossings. In this regard, Director General Peshawar Development Authority Syed Zafar Ali Shah visited various highways and residential and business areas of Hayatabad Phase I. In his day long visit, he inspected the infrastructure development schemes apart from reviewing the problems of local people.
