Punjab Chief Minister’s Special Assistant for Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that all institutions under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar are working for the protection of social and fundamental rights of the people living in Punjab. Talking to the media after visiting THQ Daska and Shelter, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that KPK style healthcare model is being adopted in Punjab.
She said that The Punjab government has launched a revolutionary program called Insaf Medicine Card under which health services are being provided through Insaf Medicine Card based on modern technology for the treatment of all kinds of diseases. She said that change can be seen in THQ Daska, the Punjab government has taken the responsibility of protecting the lives of deserving, poor and destitute patients. She said that the government would provide health coverage through the Prime Minister’s Universal Health Card and would no longer be deprived of medical treatment, we will not let the people living in Pakistan go to bed hungry. Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan inaugurated the Hepatitis Clinic and Modern Conference Hall at THQ Hospital. She also distributed food with their own hands to the women and men living in the shelter home.
On this occasion, she said that the government is fully aware of the problems of the poor, fruit and grain markets will be digitized to eliminate illicit profiteers, middlemen are also being made subject to the law.
