With the mobilization of heavy machinery to Diamer Basha Dam site by Frontier Works Organization (FWO), a long awaited dream seems getting fulfilled in near future.
Under the latest development, Director General FWO visited and inspected the progress and pace of the work of Diamer Basha Dam on 30 December 2020. Base camp and site offices have been established at the dam site recently. Work on connecting roads to dam site and construction of temporary / permanent bridges is ongoing.
Work is progressing satisfactorily and Power China – FWO JV stands committed to execute this project in a timely and efficient manner.
