The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday issued the notification of success of newly elected Mayor Islamabad Pir Adil
Gilani.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Pir Adil Gilani had won the December 28, election with clear majority by getting 43 votes. His opponent and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Malik Sajid Mahmood had acquired 26 votes.
