Three persons died and five others sustained injuries in pile-up involving 12 vehicles on highway in Sharqpur area here on Friday.
According to rescue officials, the bodies and injured were immediately moved to a hospital.
In a similar incident near Narang Mandi, a passenger bus overturned due to which 25 passengers were injured.
