PTI Central Leader HaleemAdil Sheikh addressed an important press conference in Sindh Assembly Committee Room along with PTI MNA Captain Jamil, MNA Nusrat Wahid, MPA ShahnawazJadoon, Sameer Mir Sheikh, Sajid Khan, Rehmat Khan and other PTI leaders were also present. Talking to media, HaleemAdil Sheikh said:Opposition parties had sought NRO by amending 35 points of NAB Law. If these points were changed then all the cases of corruption of the opposition would be eliminated. The opposition had tabled amendments to 34 out of 38 clauses of the NAB. Wasn’t this open NRO sought? Yet these people insist that we did not ask for more NROs. The first change, the opposition said, was that the NAB law should be implemented from 1999. The real beneficiaries would have been the Chaudhry Sugar Mill case. It was also demanded that money laundering be made a crime. If this had happened, Shahbaz Sharif, Asif Zardari and FaryalTalpur would have benefited from it in their cases. The amendment of the opposition was that NAB will not take action on corruption of less than one billion rupees, ie it is permissible to commit corruption of 99 crores which should be investigated by anti-corruption. His amendment was that NAB would not investigate corruption cases before 2015. With this amendment, PPP and PML-N would get NRO Plus. Wasn’t this an open NRO? According to him, one clause was related to anonymity, the opposition said the children and wife should be expelled. There was an amendment that disqualification would not take place until the order was passed by the Supreme Court. Let a poor person steal and keep rotting in jails. These people should rule over the same people even after stealing billions of rupees
