Minister for Local Bodies (LG), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Akbar Ayub Khan Wednesday said that funds under clean and green campaign would be directly given to Town Municipal Administration aiming provision of hundred percent funds for municipal services. He was chairing a meeting of Clean and Green Pakistan Index here.
The meeting was also attended by National Coordinator Clean and Green Pakistan, Dr. Saima Shafiq, Consultant, Niaz Ullah Khan, Secretary Local Council Board, Khizr Hayat and concerned officials. He said that Clean and Green Pakistan Index would further be extended in second phase and two cities of large divisions and one from small division would be included in the scheme adding it would help achieve the objective to make country clean and green. He also directed to utilize funds of municipal administration to complete projects of municipal services on priority basis.—APP
