“The land settlement of Shamilat (community land) is being carried out only for the benefit of few influential persons. If the settlement process is not stopped immediately, the tribal feuds will erupt,” said the tribesmen of Killi Sheikhan Sheikh Ashraf Mandokhail, Sheikh Haji Noor-ud-Din, Sheikh Kamran, Sheikh Sultan Shah, Sheikh Haji Shah Jehan, Sheikh Ayoub, Sheikh Zubair , Sheikh Azmir, Sheikh Nawaz, Sheikh Muhibullah Sheikh Sabir, Sheikh Amir Sultan and Sheikh Abdul Hameed while addressing a press conference here.
They expressed serious concerns over the recent land settlement of Mouza Sheikhan and said that without taking the real owners and notables of Mouza Sheikhan into confidence, on the directives of Balochistan High Court, the Revenue department backed by some influential persons has started the land settlement.
