Secretary Local Government, Housing and Town Planning Sindh Najam Ahmad Shah has said that online tax collection system should be implemented in all districts. He was addressing a meeting held at his office in which all additional and special secretaries participated along with concerned officers. Najam Shah said that all the officers of Sindh Local Government Department should ensure that the documents pertaining to every official matter must not hold unnecessarily or delayed and every official should perform the duties with complete transparency and impartiality. The Secretary Local Government made it clear to all the officers that every staff member should make full and effective use of his ability and competence for the development of the department. Najam Shah stressed that al Notifications should be issued on time, every government order should be implemented without delay, legal matters should be carried out on priority basis and complete trail and details of office property should be digitized. Najam Ahmad Shah said that the model system of online tax collection which has been introduced in District Central should be applied in all other districts as well and departmental reform and purification process should be made faster and more efficient.
