Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar met with Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and expressed the determination to thwart the politics of PDM based on anarchy. Both the Governor and the Chief Minister made it clear to the opposition that elections will be held in 2023.
According to details, an important meeting between Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar was held at Governor House during which political and governmental issues, as well as protest politics of PDM, were discussed. It has been decided that law and order will be ensured in the province and strict action will be taken against those who take the law into their own hands.
During the meeting, Governor Ch Sarwar said that the public is rejecting the anarchy based politics of PDM. The government will not go anywhere even a day before the constitutional period. PDM does not care about the lives of the people. Ch Sarwar said that the resignations and protests of the opposition do not pose any threat to the government. Despite the intensity in Corona, the opposition rallies are dangerous and there is no doubt that wherever opposition rallies are taking place, the number of Corona patients is also increasing.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that the politics of opposition is over. People stand with the government. PDM will hold as many meetings as it wants. No matter how many rallies PDM holds, the government will not go anywhere. Pakistan is moving forward with success under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. On the other hand, Governor Chaudhry Sarwar also called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at the Prime Minister’s House and Governor Punjab apprised the Premier about the committees formulated in order to expedite the provision of clean drinking water and high-quality cotton seeds in Punjab whilst the Prime Minister Imran Khan directed to further intensify the measures regarding clean drinking water initiative.
