The District Election Commission Officer Muhammad Khalil, Deputy Director Social Welfare Sharif Ghumman, on Monday said that casting vote was one of important obligations of every citizen which enabled their active participation in the political, social and economic decision making.
They said that while addressing a seminar to highlight the importance of vote in connection with the observation of ‘ vote’s day’ under the Election Commission of Pakistan and the United Nations (UN). They said that ratio of casting vote in Pakistan was quite low because majority of the masses was not fully aware of the importance of vote.
