Smog rises as AQI touches 312 in City

Smog began to rise again in the city as the air quality index reached 312 with the Meteorological Department forecast dry weather on Wednesday (today).
According to details, smog is increasing again in the provincial metropolis. The air quality index in the city has reached 312 on Tuesday and the weather in the City is likely to remain dry with maximum temperature to reach 26 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 10 degrees Celsius. The air humidity was recorded at 72% in the morning while recorded at 51% in the evening. Temperature is likely to drop further as the weather to stay dry.
On the other hand, dry and cold weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, fog is expected in some plains of Punjab in the morning hours. And it will remain dry in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, it is likely to be partly cloudy and cold weather. Severe cold wave will continue in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and adjoining hilly, upper areas and Kurram district. The maximum temperature of Peshawar was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius. The coldest Kalam and Para Chinar recorded minus 5. The minimum temperature was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius while Dera Ismail Khan recorded 10 degrees Celsius, Malam Jabba recorded 0.1 degrees Celsius, while Dir recorded minus 1 degree Celsius, Chitral recorded 3 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Kalam was minus 09, Skardu minus 07, Gopis minus 06, Parachinar minus 05, Astor, Gilgit, Lah minus 04, Hunza, Bagrut minus 03 and minus 01 degree Celsius in Dir, Kakul and Balakot. 9 degrees Celsius was recorded.
