NUR International University (NIU) Lahore organized a Seerat Event Shan-e-Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen (PBUH) at its Campus. It was organized as part of “Hafta Shan-e-Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen Week”. The blessed event began with the recitation from the Holy Quran and by introductory remarks by Ms. Maliha Sami, Head Students Affairs Department, NIU. She paid a humble homage to the Beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Prof. Dr. Rakhshanda Rehman, Vice Chancellor, NIU said that Muslims everywhere pay special rich tribute to The Holy Prophet (PBUH) during the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal to celebrate his birthday. The VC discussed that Islam has given a complete set of beliefs and way of living. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) introduced the meaning of ‘civilization’ to the world.
Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad, Dean of Applied Sciences explained a set of principles from the teachings of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and how young generation can incorporate them to improve their lives. Dr. Mushtaq said that the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the best example for seeking any guidance in all the sections of life.
Prof. Dr. Naumana Amjad, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, NIU said that the personality of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a mercy for all creatures. The best way to protect the honor of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is that we implement his teachings in our lives. Life of Prophet (PBUH) gave us the lesson to serve the mankind and help the people who were suffering from various problems.
