PPL discovers new oil reserves in Ziarat

Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) on Friday announced the discovery of new reserves of oil in Pakistan. According to the PPL, new oil reserves were found in Balochistan’s Ziarat district.
The PPL said it started extended well testing on November 9 and is currently extracting approximately 800 barrels of oil per day. The agreement for exploration of oil from the well has been signed with Attock Refinery by Pakistan Petroleum Limited.
