The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday said the accountability watchdog made the case of abuse of power against former president Asif Ali Zardari, even though the PPP co-chairperson had never lent or borrowed money.
A two-member IHC bench, headed by Justice Amir Farooq, presided the hearing of Zardari’s plea against the accountability court’s decision to reject his acquittal pleas in the Park Lane reference. The court had combined the petition of accused Bilal Sheikh with the former president’s petition.
